As the Sun rises at the Drombeg Stone Circle, between Rosscarbery and Glandore, the longest day of the year begins. Although the Drombg Stone Circle is aligned for a Winter Solstice Sunset on December 21st, people come at Summer Solstice to see the sunrise there.
